PUMA HYROX World Championships Stockholm 2026 will take place on 18 and 21 June at the spectacular Strawberry Arena in Solna — one of Scandinavia’s most iconic indoor stadiums. The world’s top HYROX athletes will gather in Sweden’s capital to compete for the ultimate titles.

How to get there:

Airport: Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is the main international hub. The Arlanda Express reaches Stockholm Central in 18 minutes. From there, take commuter train lines to Solna Station, a short walk from the arena.

By Train: Pendeltåg (commuter trains) stop at Solna Station, just minutes from Strawberry Arena.

By Metro: Metro Blue Line to Näckrosen or Solna Centrum, both within walking distance.

By Car: Easy access via E4/E20. The arena offers large parking areas.

The World Championships follow the classic HYROX structure: 8 km total running divided into 1 km intervals, alternated with 8 functional stations. Strawberry Arena offers one of the largest and most impressive indoor layouts ever used for HYROX — ideal for elite‑level racing.

PUMA HYROX World Championships Stockholm 2026 Categories

The World Championships bring together the best athletes on the planet, competing across different divisions based on level, format, and age group:

  • Elite 15 Singles: The pinnacle of individual competition. It features the top 15 men and top 15 women in the world, qualified through Majors and Regional Championships.
  • Elite 15 Pro Doubles: The highest level of pairs competition, featuring the top 15 male and top 15 female duos. Starting in 2026, it holds its own independent world championship within the event.
  • Age Group Pro Singles: Individual competition by age brackets using Pro weights. This division sees the highest volume of qualified Age Group athletes.
  • Age Group Pro Doubles: Male or female pairs competing by age groups with Pro weights. Teams must compete with the exact same partner used to qualify.
  • Age Group Mixed Doubles: Co-ed pairs (one man, one woman) split by age groups. One of the most popular and highly competitive divisions in HYROX.
  • 60+ Categories: Dedicated divisions for master athletes aged 60 and over, competing in both individual and doubles formats as an exception to the strict Pro-only qualification rule.
  • Adaptive Invitational: A division reserved for adaptive athletes, bringing together the fastest times worldwide from the current season.
  • Mixed Relay Invitational: A high-octane national team competition consisting of four athletes (two men and two women) qualified via world ranking.
