From there, just sit back. Every time new content drops — videos, training plans, strategy guides — you'll get an email letting you know it's ready.
Any question?
No. Week 1 is designed as a testing week so you can assess your starting point and get familiar with the movements. From there, the program guides you progressively towards race day.
Does this work if I already train CrossFit?
Absolutely. You already have the strength base and movement knowledge. What you need is the HYROX-specific running and race conditioning. If you're covering strength through CrossFit, you can follow just the running days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday's bike erg is optional. We strongly recommend joining every Saturday simulation though; it's the most race-specific session of the week and where everything comes together.
How many days per week do I need to train?
The program includes 5 training days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday and Sunday are rest days. Sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes.
Is this for Open / Pro / Doubles?
All of the above. The program includes Singles and Doubles versions for every Saturday simulation, and the load and volume progression is designed for both Open and Pro level athletes. Around 70% of HYROX racers compete in Doubles. This program is built for you too.
What equipment do I need?
You'll need access to a CrossFit box or functional fitness gym with a Ski Erg, Row Erg, Echo Bike, sled, kettlebells, dumbbells, a barbell with plates and a sandbag. You'll also need a jump rope.
We know not every gym has everything; sleds and sandbags are often the hardest to find. That's why inside the App you'll find alternative exercises for every movement in case you don't have the specific equipment available, so you can always complete the session with what you have.
What if I finish the program and want to keep training for HYROX?
