From August 28 to 30, Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana (USA) hosts the second stop of the 2026 World Fitness Tour. It's the second-to-last stop before the World Fitness Finals in Copenhagen this December, and one of the standout dates on the functional fitness calendar this summer.
What is the World Fitness Project
The World Fitness Project (WFP) is one of the functional fitness competitions that has gained the most traction on the international circuit in recent years. Its 2026 season is structured in three phases: online qualifiers, two Tour Stops (in-person events), and the season-closing Finals.
The first stop of the year took place in May in London. Grand Park is the second and final stop before the grand finale.
WFP Grand Park Pro format
Tour Stop 2 brings together three divisions:
- Pro Men and Pro Women: 50 athletes per division, made up of Signed Pros and athletes who qualified through the online qualifier.
- Elite Teams: teams of 4 athletes, up to 20 qualified teams.
- Project 1: the division open to community athletes, who compete on the same field as the pros.
The scoring system is cumulative: each WOD awards up to 100 points to the winner, with the rest scoring on a descending scale based on placement. Points accumulate across the whole season, and the top 30 athletes with the most combined points after both Tour Stops earn their spot at the World Fitness Finals in Copenhagen, December 17-20.
How the standings look heading into Grand Park
After Tour Stop 1 in London, here's the overall ranking with which athletes arrive in Indiana. Points from both stops are combined, and the top 30 in each category earn their spot at the World Fitness Finals in Copenhagen, December 17-20.

CrossFit Games champions return to competition
What makes this Tour Stop special is that two of the biggest names in the field arrive as reigning CrossFit Games champions. James Sprague claimed his second world title this summer in San Jose, and Aimee Cringle did the same in the women's field, dominating from start to finish.
Watching them compete in the WFP, outside the context of the Games, is a unique opportunity for fans who follow functional fitness at the highest level.
Velites, Official Partner of jump ropes, hand grips and wrist wraps for the World Fitness Project
Velites is the Official Partner of the World Fitness Project for jump ropes, hand grips and wrist wraps, and at Grand Park that collaboration will be visible on the field: athletes will compete with Velites' co-branded WFP gear.
The Earth 2.0 will be available in 4 official cable lengths (235 cm, 250 cm, 265 cm and 280 cm, 8 mm Blue Monster cable) with maximum weighting: 150 g on the inside and 200 g on the outside of each handle, for a total rope weight of 1.25 kg (2.5 lb). There will be a dedicated area on site where athletes can test which length suits them best before competing.
If you want to train with the same stimulus you'll see at Grand Park, the only real way to replicate it is by training with the same weighted rope. That's why we recommend getting your Earth 2.0 before the event, so you arrive with your technique already adapted to the weight and cable length that works best for you.
You can see the full World Fitness Project x Velites co-branded collection (Quad Ultra, All Terrain and Quad Competition hand grips, Cyclone, Fire 2.0 and Earth 2.0 jump ropes, and wrist wraps) at our WFP collection.
Maribel Gallardo, Velites athlete in Pro Women
In the Pro Women category, Velites athlete Maribel Gallardo will be competing. At 27 years old, the Spanish athlete arrives in 39th place on the World Fitness Tour (136 points) after standout performances on the circuit, including a 10th-place finish in the Challenger category in Indianapolis and her run at the WFP Finals. As Velites is the official sponsor of jump ropes, hand grips and wrist wraps, Maribel will take on every event fully equipped with the brand's technical gear and support.
