ONE SHOE, MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS
The Minimal 1.0 includes two interchangeable insoles and three configurations.
No insole | 0 mm drop → maximum ground feel for muscular development. Ideal for lifting, strength and technical work.
Intermediate Insole | 3 mm drop→ daily balance for functional training and mixed sessions.
Thicker Insole | 8 mm drop → increased impact absorption for running, jumps and recovery.
Thanks to this system, you’ll be able to gradually transition from conventional shoes to barefoot.
If you come from running shoes or traditional CrossFit shoes, start with the 8 mm insole and reduce progressively.
Your feet will adapt to a more natural way of moving, following your own pace.

WIDE TOE BOX
Natural toe spread
MINIMAL1.0 are designed with a wide toe box so toes can spread naturally instead of being forced into a narrow front shape.
Toe spread improves:
Body posture.
Balance and control under load.
Stability when fatigued.
Comfort over long sessions.
Sports performance.

NO MIDSOLE
Stability and direct ground feedback.
We removed the midsole to stop the “soft platform” effect that happens under load.
In strength and mixed-modal training, a base that compresses or shifts reduces performance and control.
Athletes need a direct connection with the ground that supports force production and stability.
This design improves:
Flexibility and comfort
Direct force transfer
Ground feedback
Stability under heavy lifts

REINFORCED HIGH-WEAR ZONES
Protection vs Fragile barefoot shoes
Barefoot shoes often fail in the gym because the real damage is localized: rope contact zones, burpee impact zones, wall-contact zones.
MINIMAL1.0 reinforces where functional training destroys footwear:
Rope climb protection → abrasion resistance where rope eats uppers and sidewalls
TPU burpee protection → comfort + durability under repeated contact/impact
HSPU double-density runner → stability and durability for wall/inversion work
This is the core promise: barefoot principles + protection, not “extreme barefoot.

HIGH-GRIP OUTSOLE
Control under sweat and fatigue
Grip is a performance feature, not aesthetics. MINIMAL1.0 uses a high-grip outsole concept designed to hold when:
Sweat makes floors unpredictable
Fatigue reduces foot control
Transitions are fast

ROW LOCK SYSTEM
HYROX efficiency detail
Rowing is a hidden efficiency leak for hybrid athletes. Unstable foot placement wastes energy and time in competition.
MINIMAL1.0 adds a Row Lock system to keep the foot stable on the rower.

Are the Minimal 1.0 for me?
Are you a CrossFit Athlete?
MINIMAL 1.0 will give you control and durability without sacrifying stability under load, grip when workouts get intense and versatility for your mixed sessions.
Are you a HYROX Athlete?
Running shoes feel unstable at stations. Barefoot shoes feel unsafe and fragile when fatigue hits.
Minimal 1.0 are designed for that hybrid reality: outsole grip for the sled pull and sled push, row efficiency thanks to the locking system design and a multiple configuration insole system for every station including running.
Do you care about your foot health?
From a clinic perspective Minimal 1.0 shoes are a significant evolution of barefoot shoes. They respect feet biomechanics and they suit daily life needs.

THE CHALLENGE
Every innovative product comes with its own challenges.
“Removing the midsole sounds simple. In reality, it breaks almost everything.”
Every time you gain ground feel, you usually lose protection. Every time you add protection, you usually lose the minimal feel.
That’s why MINIMAL1.0 occupies just the middle between barefoot shoes and training shoes.

Why “barefoot shoes” usually fail for training?
Most people searching training shoes or barefoot shoes for CrossFit hit the same wall:
Traditional trainers foam midsoles can feel comfortable, but compress under load reducing stability.
Barefoot shoes are a great idea, but often too fragile, too cold, and not built for rope climbs, burpees and intense workouts.
MINIMAL1.0 deliberately occupies the middle ground: a shoe with barefoot principles and with the protection athletes need for their daily workouts and their daily life.
